Matteo had his first bath and he seemed to love it. He had a little wiggle and splash. I gently washed his body. I loved to look at him in his full glory. His beautiful, super soft, slightly wrinkled, olive skin. I called daddy up to take some photos, he took some lovely photos we'll treasure forever. He had a little cry when we took him out, think he liked the nice warm water. Daddy helped me wrap him up, nicely snuggled in Isabella's octopus towel. I held him as daddy washed his hair. I took him to our bedroom, lay him our bed. His belly button was bleeding a bit, i was worried so i called the midwife, she reassured me that everything was fine. Isabella came in to see him, asking lots of questions. She wanted to know what she was like when she was a baby and liked me to keep her informed on what i was doing, she's a lovely big sister. Sadly this was Matteo's first and last bath.
